Product Description

Carbon Black Reactor Lining Chrome Corundum Brick with and Bulk Density 3.35g/cm3

Chrome corundum Bricks is produced with high quality of sintered corundum, synthetic mullite and chromium oxide as raw material and processed under high temperature and high pressure. They have high bulk density, high compressive strength, good thermal shock resistance, good corrosion resistance to acid and alkali. The bricks are not affected by H2, CO gase.

Chrome corundum brick refers to corundum refractory products containing Cr2O3. At high temperature, Cr2O3 and Al2O3 form a continuous solid solution, so the high temperature performance of chromium corundum products is better than that of pure corundum products. Chrome corundum bricks used in petrochemical industrial gasifiers should be low silicon, low iron, low alkali, high purity, and have high density and strength. Chromium corundum products are widely used, and the content of Cr2O3 is mostly in the range of 9% to 15%. The main mineral composition is α-Al2O3-Cr2O3 solid solution. The secondary mineral composition is a refractory brick with a small amount of composite spinel (or no composite spinel) and a chromium oxide content of 1% to 30%. There are two types of fused cast chrome corundum bricks and sintered chrome corundum bricks. In general, chrome corundum bricks refer to sintered chrome corundum bricks.
